The CarCoding mobile app for iPhone and Android connects to an ELM327 BLE OBD2 adapter to access the CLIMATE 08 module on the VAG TIGUAN AD1 platform. This module contains four specific coding settings that users can modify. The platform is shared by vehicles including the Volkswagen Tiguan (AD) and Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace (BW2).
This module allows you to change four settings, such as Blower status shown in AUTO mode, Blower Display In Auto, Automatic Wheel Heat, and Seat Heater Performance Reduction. Writing to these parameters is supported through the application interface.
